KEDT is proud to announce that they have received a grant to extend the reach of THE MUSIC INSTINCT: SCIENCE AND SONG which
explores startling new connections being made between music and the human mind, body and the natural world. KEDT will work with area Middle Schools and Harbor Playhouse to bring the world of music and science to students in South Texas. Major funding for this program provided by the National Science Foundation, Mary Rodgers Guettel, NAMM FOUNDATION, National Endowment for the Arts, Rita and Fritz Markus, The Vital Projects Fund, the Irving Harris Foundation, Sono and Victor Elmaleh, Thea Petschek Iervolino and public television viewers. |

KEDT SuperFit Kids workshops are now available. |
KEDT is participating in the innovative children's Health Initiative, aiming to prevent children from becoming overweight through educational TV and radio using the schools and Internet. Funding for KEDT SuperFit Kids is made possible by a grant from the Coastal Bend Diabetes Initiative. |
